If you're on this page, it's hopefully because you are getting ready to take your first step in becoming a follower of Jesus! We would like to be part of this exciting time in your life!
While we each have our own unique story, and God has done different things in each of our lives to bring us to this point, the first step is the same for all of us:
Repentance.
Jesus said, "unless you repent, you too will all perish." (Luke 13:3). When you repent, you confess and turn from your sins, and turn to Jesus! Repentance is something that is done privately between you and Jesus. It is also done publicly in the context of a church community where you declare Him to be your Lord and Saviour. We were never meant to walk the journey of faith alone. You need Christian community to keep growing in your faith!
If you are ready to take this step, connect with one of our pastors today to talk about this next step and to get more information on our Faith Inquiry class!
Take This StepIf you are already a Christian, but are looking to grow in your faith, this is the step for you!
Many Christians don't intentionally take steps to grow in their faith. That is like standing at a trail head and not actually walking the path. God wants us to walk this path. God has actually saved us from our sins, so that we may walk a life of faith with him.
We have several weekly ministries designed to help you grow in your faith with other believers.
Bible Studies meet on Tuesday & Thursday mornings. They are designed to grow your biblical knowledge and your understanding of the Scriptures.
Discipleship Groups - are small groups of believers committed to growing in faith together! Discipleship Groups meet weekly to pray with one another, study the word, and regularly serve the community. You can sign up to be a part of a Men's Discipleship Group, a Young Adult's discipleship Group, or one of our 'mixed' groups (men and women who meet together in someone's home)
Coffee Break - is a mid-week women's ministry! Join together with women of all ages, to enjoy coffee, and time in the Word together
Keep your eye out from some of other ministries like Men's Breakfast and IF: Conference for women.
Take This StepChristians who live life on the path of the faith, do the things Jesus commands. When Jesus was asked, "what was the greatest commandment?" He replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind'. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it, "Love your neighbour as yourself." (Matthew 22:37-39)
Learning how to do this is the path of discipleship. We follow a Saviour, who came not to be served, but to serve others (Matthew 20:28). We spread the love of God when we serve the world around us.
We have many opportunities here at Pathway Bible Church to equip you to love God and serve others! When you serve, you not only help others grow in their faith, but you will find you grow in your own faith at the same time!

"God never intended us to simply be objects of his love. We are also called to be instruments of that love in the lives of others."
